New Pediatric Provider

MVHC’s School Mobile Health Unit is excited to introduce our new pediatric provider starting in January. Her name is Amanda Parker-Day. She is eager to get out into the school districts and connect with kids needing healthcare services .Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Mount Saint Mary College and her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University College of Nursing. Amanda chose to leave her career in corporate retail and pursue her calling of becoming a Nurse Practitioner after losing a couple of close family members to preventable conditions. She has always had the desire to help others and wanted to be on the frontlines providing preventative care to children and helping them lay a foundation for a healthy future. Amanda has a special place in her heart for helping children struggling with their mental health.

Ridgewood MVHC Information

MOVING TO A MOBILE UNIT

Our School Health Program will no longer be operating out of the module behind the elementary school. The program will now operate out of a MVHC Mobile Health Unit on a rotating schedule basis. Our School Health program continues to be centered on providing comprehensive primary care services including pediatric, adolescent, and behavioral health care to our students. Adult Community care has been suspended until an adult care provider can be hired. Once an adult health care provider has been found, an Adult Community MVHC Mobile Unit will visit Ridgewood on a rotating schedule basis similar to the school/pediatric mobile unit. The Mobile Units will park in the Middle School parking lot unless otherwise noted.
