Mission Statement
Ridgewood
Elementary School
will accept children at whatever stage of development they may be, and with resources available, provide the students with the opportunity to develop their abilities to their individual capacities. The school, through its teachers, will strive to develop the entire student: social, mental and physical aspects.
Purpose
It is the purpose of our school and its faculty to provide each student with the best possible educational opportunity so that he or she may mature and grow emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Each student must share in this responsibility by setting high goals and standards and using his academic talents to the utmost. What an individual becomes depends more on what he strives toward than on any other single item. Always do that of which you will be proud.
In our quest to help you realize these goals and standards the faculty will promote specific qualities essential to your ongoing development and future success. Throughout the years you spend with us you will often hear these qualities referred to as our Guiding Principles.
