Pick a friend and come up with two outfit ideas that rhyme, but don't go together!
WEDNESDAY: Student/Teacher Swap
Students dress like teachers, and teachers dress like students!
THURSDAY: Class Colors
Represent your grade:
• Kindergarten: Orange
• 1st Grade: Gray
• 2nd Grade: Black
• 3rd Grade: White
FRIDAY: Spirit Wear
Go all out in your orange and black Ridgewood gear!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Appalachian Ohio is bringing the Lunch Buddies program to our school!
This free mentorship program pairs students with pre-screened mentors for weekly lunch visits filled with fun conversations, games, crafts, and guest presenters.
Program Highlights:
When: Every Tuesday from October through April during your child's scheduled lunch time (BBBSAOH staff will be on site).
Cost: Completely FREE!
Benefits: Provides a positive role model, extra support, and a fun friendship for the school year.
How to Sign Up:
To enroll your child, simply scan the QR code on the flyer attached to fill out the online application. There are also applications in the elementary office. You can also reach out directly to info@bbbsaoh.org or call (740) 453-7300 for assistance.

Back-to-school forms need to be completed for all students enrolled at Ridgewood Elementary. Please log on to your account in the OneView Parent Portal and complete all necessary forms for all children that you have enrolled in the district.
Elementary Open House – August 18
Preschool through 3rd Grade families are invited to visit Ridgewood Elementary, meet our staff, and get ready for the new school year!
Open House Times:
1:00–2:30 PM
4:00–6:00 PM
First Day of School – August 19
The first day of school for students in 1st–3rd Grade is Wednesday, August 19.
