Ridgewood Local Schools congratulates School Resource Officer Amanda Rossiter on her promotion to corporal with the West Lafayette Police Department, effective October 12, 2026.

Rossiter has consistently demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to serving the department, Ridgewood schools, and the residents of West Lafayette. Her presence in our schools helps create a safe, welcoming environment while building positive relationships with students and staff.

“Corporal Rossiter is a valued member of our Ridgewood family. Our students and staff appreciate her kindness, her willingness to help, and the care she brings to our schools every day,” said Superintendent Mike Masloski. “We are grateful for everything she does for Ridgewood and proud to celebrate this well-deserved promotion.”

In her new role, Rossiter will serve as a first-line supervisor, providing leadership and support to department personnel while continuing to serve as a resource for the community. Ridgewood joins the West Lafayette Police Department in congratulating Corporal Rossiter on this achievement.
