We hope everyone attends the football game tonight to cheer on the Generals. We love that our younger students can play in the turf part behind the end zone. Please help us though. We cannot have any food or drinks on the turf. We appreciate your help with keeping our facility clean and the best one around. Go, Generals!
Line the streets at 6:40 to welcome your State Girls' Golf team back to West Lafayette!
They did it again and are heading back to the State Golf Championship! Congratulations to our girls' golf team and Coach Lott on winning the East District Golf Tournament today! Congratulations to Taylor Harstine on winning the tournament and Brynn Harstine for finishing 2nd! Great work, ladies!
Muskingum Valley Health Center will be on our campus Thursday October 15th providing flu vaccines for our staff. If any parent or guardian is interested in your student receiving a flu vaccine, please contact your student's building and ask for Nurse Roberts or email her at laura.roberts@ridgewood.k12.oh.us
RHS Parents and Guardians of Juniors and Seniors: I am including information about our new App and the Rooms feature. I have created a "Room" for the Class of 2027 and 2028 to better our communication with these classes. We have several students at the Coshocton and Buckeye Career Centers in addition to all the programming we offer at Ridgewood. Please have your student follow the instructions to download and sign into the Ridgewood LSD App. Please do so yourself as well. You will receive notifications about scholarships, testing schedules, activities, graduation, important announcements, and more! I met with our Coshocton Career Center students today and will be meeting with other groups as well to help our students get signed up.
⛳ The Road to State continues for Ridgewood Girls Golf!
Congratulations to our Lady Generals on advancing to the district tournament next week at Cambridge Country Club!

Here is the weekly schedule of athletic events. Go, Generals!
Homecoming Dance Change! The RHS Homecoming Dance will now take place in the Ridgewood High School gym, not the Middle School gym. The dance is tomorrow night, September 19th from 8-10:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. Tickets can be bought at the door.
We are asking all students to enter through the white double doors that lead directly into the gym. Students will sign out and leave through the cafeteria exit. This is similar to how we have students enter and exit for prom.
We appreciate everyone's flexibility, and we really appreciate the students, Mr. Pyers, and Ms. Davis who helped us lay the carpet in the gym!
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night for a great evening!

The 1st Red Cross blood drive is coming up at the Ridgewood High School gymnasium on Wednesday, September 23rd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are several spots available. This drive is open to the public. Please consider supporting our students. Every donation assists in raising money for a scholarship for a graduating senior. Your donation is also an example of kindness and community service for our students to follow. Anyone donating at this blood drive also receives a $15 gift card in their email. You can sign up online at www.RedCrossBlood.org or by emailing Nurse Roberts at laura.roberts@ridgewood.k12.oh.us

Ridgewood High School will be participating in spirit week for Homecoming this week!
Today, Ridgewood High School 8th graders attended the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Coshocton Court Square. The ceremony honored and remembered those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as the first responders and others who served our nation. Chief Master Sgt. Brian Stiteler of the Coshocton Fire Department served as the main speaker.
We are grateful that our students had the opportunity to be part of this meaningful community remembrance. We will never forget.
Students riding e-bikes should stop at all stop signs, stay as far to the right as possible, and use extra caution around school traffic. Generals, Ride Safe!
The OHSAA is offering 20% off this weekend at Dick's Sporting Goods. If you go, use this coupon.
Cambridge just canceled the 7th and 8th grade football games for tonight. We apologize for the late notice.
Ridgewood High School is excited to offer our seniors the chance to paint their own parking spaces. Mr. Smoulder will discuss this at the senior class meeting on Tuesday, August 25 during 1st period. The agreement is attached. We will look to schedule times in early September for seniors to paint those spaces.
Thanks to our 12-month employees for all their hard work to get us ready for the start of a great school year!
