Officer Phil Program
The West Lafayette Police Department sponsored the Officer Phil Assembly for Ridgewood Elementary students during Red Ribbon Week. Officer Phil teaches students safety lessons in a fun light-hearted atmosphere. Students were also given a grade level booklet and a website to encourage them to do the right thing and be safe. Officer Phil talked about many topics including respect, bullying, and stranger danger.
