Federal Fund Supplements

The Ridgewood Local School District is planning a meeting to review the 2017-2018 school year federal allocation and to receive input regarding the use of those dollars in the following areas: Title I, IIA and IDEA-Part B. These federal funds supplement the state and local dollars that provide funding for the district's comprehensive educational services. The meeting will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the district's administration building located at 301 S Oak Street.

Title I funds are used to provide reading/math instructional intervention, materials and supplies, turtoring services, parental involvement activities and professional development for staff.

Title II-A funds, can assist to reduce class size and provide professional development activities to improve teacher quality.

IDEA-Part B funds are used for special education and related services for children with disabilities by supporting needs as identified through the child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
