The Ridgewood Local Schools Athletic Department welcomes you to another school year and fall sports season. We would like to thank the community for all of its support of our student athletes. We look forward to a successful fall sports season where our student athletes will be able to showcase their abilities outside of the classroom. Your continued support is much appreciated!
Ticket Prices:
Our league has made a slight change for ticket prices for the 2017-2018 school year. Varsity sports ticket prices will remain the same which is $4 for students and $6 for adults (All Varsity Sports). Ticket prices for JV football, Freshman, and Jr. High events have increased by $1 for adults. The ticket prices will now be $2 for students and $4 for adults.
Impact Testing:
With the growing concerns of concussions in today's sports world, we at Ridgewood, in the athletic department, are proud to announce that all of our athletes in grades 7-12 in the fall sports of volleyball, football, cheerleading, and soccer have been given the Impact Concussion test. This test is administered in two forms. First, our student athletes were given the test to form their "baseline." At anytime after a concussion is expected, a post injury test is administered and the results are compared to the student athletes baseline score. Student athletes must score within a certain range before being cleared to return. This allows our student athletes to compete at the highest and safest level possible.
