Ridgewood Local and Muskingum University - 2017 Ohio Deans Compact Incentive Grant Awardee
The Ohio Deans Compact provides incentive grants through competitive request for application process that is open to institutions of higher education in Ohio. In 2017, a third round of incentive grant funding resulted in 12 incentive grants across two priority areas: (1) the development of inclusive teacher preparation programs leading to dual licensure in a general education content area and in an intervention specialist area: and (2) authentic P20 partnership through simultaneous renewal efforts. Muskingum University with their partner, Ridgewood Local School District was awarded with one of the twelve grants. Muskingum University and Ridgewood Local Schools has enjoyed a long tradition of collaboration with teacher interns, professional development, college credit plus, student benchmarking and our newest collaboration----Clinical Partnerships to Promote Resilient Learners. Ridgewood Local School District along with Muskingum University attended the Ohio Deans Compact 5th Annual Statewide Conference. During the conference, Ridgewood Local and Muskingum University provided evidence of partnership and an opportunity to discuss with others in the field about our important work.
